PureScale<\/a>\u00a0is a highly active shared disk solution. With this resource, the disks where the database resides are shared via GPFS among two or more servers. Multiple database servers can access the disks with locking and other shared aspects managed by one or more Clustering Facilities (CF). In fact, the minimum number of servers you might want for this solution is 5. This is the only active-active clustering solution that IBM offers for Db2 suitable for OLTP or other transaction processing databases.<\/p><\/div><\/section><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
